- Get quotes and book your removals team
- Start decluttering room by room
- Decide what needs clearing or donating
4 weeks before
- Confirm the date and access arrangements
- Order packing materials or book packing
- Book any storage you need
2 weeks before
- Pack rooms you use least
- Arrange post redirection
- Confirm utility switchovers
The final week
- Pack everything except essentials
- Defrost the freezer
- Confirm arrival times and parking
Moving day
- Walk the property with the team
- Take meter readings
- Do a final check of loft, garage and garden
